It's less than 2 hours till midnight, till next year. How fast. Things just fly past by so fast.
I'm sitting alone the whole day, even forgetting that today is new year's eve till my mom reminded me this morning. I've been spending my time watching the dvds that I brought back from Malaysia. They're freaking good. Hahaha. But of course there's no subtitles on the tv screen, but strange, when I run it in the computer there were subtitles. Nevermind that.
HELLO everyone out there ! If you are bored and find that you have really got nothing better to do, why not try to make crispy crispy ? It's simple, effortless and cheap to make ! It tastes superb too ! Welcome to the blog where I will reveal the secret receipe to the making of crispy crispy !
The origins of crispy crispy
Crispy crispy originated from Malaysia, when one fine day my cousin got married and my aunty did it. My mom brought it back from Penang and I ate it... WOOOO ~ I got addicted even though it was pretty sinful and oily. At one point of time making crispy crispy was the "IN" thing among my aunties. Even my 4th and 6th aunties started to do when they got back from the wedding.
When I asked what was that golden deep fried thing called, no one knew. It was when I went to my 4th aunty house and made it a few months ago and shared it with my classmates from the french class. When they asked me what was it called, I came up with the name "Crispy crispy" cos when you take the first bite, it goes "krrraaaacccck" (the sound of the crisp).
Aiya ok looks like I've really got nothing better to do here. Well, apart from chionging my HK drama, the other thing I'd do is blog. =/ I'm really dreading next monday ! Don't wanna go back to school :'(
Anyways, 3 weeks ago I went to jii house but first I waited for jii at the bus-stop outside NP cos I didn't know how to go to her house by car ! ( I went to her house again yesterday and this time I got lost =x I almost went to Woodlands.) We had Ya Kun for breakfast and I will never eat Ya Kun again cos I'm really sick of it. Imagine, 2 eggs, 1 cup of milo, 2 kaya toast.. Gosh I'm gonna puke.
Things needed:
Then we went to NTUC to get the popiah skins and sugar ice-ing or ice-ing sugar.. whatever you call it lah.
So we need:
popiah skins
fine ice-ing sugar
egg white
2 fine pair of hands
Methods:
First, sit at any comfortable position that you like, the thing is, you must be comfortable and relaxed so that the outcome would turn out right. (ok this is bull shit. Just sit however you like.)
So you peel the skins and shove it to the other person to get it rolling. =x I'm the peeler and jii is the roller.
Okay, like I said, sit at any position you like and get on with work ! Ignore the pack of roast duck, it's not meant to add flavourings into the crispy x2.
Next, before you roll, fold the skin to about 3/4 and then from there you roll and leave a bit of space so that you and apply the egg white on it to seal it.. so that it wont come off when you go on the the next stage, deep frying.
Oh ! And don't roll until too tight, you must let it breathe. The inside will not be cooked if you rolled it too tight.
When you finished all, the result must be like that, something similar to the picture below. If it's not the same, then something must have gone wrong.
Cut the skins to small pieces before you let them down into the frying pan. Becareful of the oil splattering.
Before you fry, lay down lots of newspapers on the floor and around the cooking area if you afraid that oil will splatter everywhere, otherwise if you don't mind cleaning up, then don't put newspaper. Get an adult to do so if you can't do it =x
Then put an amountful of oil and let it be heated for awhile and then let it fry until it turns golden brown.
Take lots of "xi yiu zi" the tissue used in the kitchen (I suggest you prepare 1 whole roll) when you take the crispyx2 from the pan. You should have something like that below.
Then put the ice-ing sugar and mix them evenly. It depends how sweet you want it to be. And ta-dah you let it cool down and put into the bottles and voila !
Very easy right. :D

And to all who texted me to wish me merry xmas, I received them, but didn't reply cos there was no reception and my mobile was dying off and I didn't bring my charger... Whole lot of excuses but they are true ! :D

Remember last week he gave me a bunch of bananas ? Yeah I jokingly told him that the other time the bananas that he gave me were really sweet and nice which was true (I'm telling the truth ! they are really sweet) and he immediately gave me another bunch. :D :D Sheesh. That's banana meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner cos monday I'm leaving SG. Hehe I'm so glad that I went to see him just now. He said I talked like a kid and that I'm very interesting (jin chu bee) =/ =/
Went K box with Annch today. It has been a really long time since we K-ed together. If I'm not wrong we went during sec sch days. Count the number of years. =/
I had loads of fun. Where lots of funny things happened, and we sang lots of old songs... hhahaha you won't believe what I chose to sing. "bao bei dui bu qi" by cao meng, "yan huo" by wu qi long and "dui ni ai bu wan" by ah kwok aaron kwok. Wah that really brought up the atmosphere. LOL ! SERIOUSLY ! The duet songs that annch chose I didn't know how to sing, and she end up singing both the male and the female parts. LOL. She was out of breath cos there were 3 songs that are continously a duet. LOL !
After the k session we went shopping at Paragon (where the rich people shop but we only shopped at metro.. pathetic right) and Taka. Bought a levis tee for my cousin who scored a pathetic 10 points in his Ns and a 5 in maths which we both thought that maths is a goner. It's just a reward. :)
I should be out of town on monday... Which is quite a sad thing. Not only I will miss annch bbq session, I don't get to sleep on my new bed. :'(
My new refrigerator has finally came on tuesday. REALLY REALLY NICE I LIKE !!
Today is a very sinful day. MY cousin brought me and my mom to Shangri-La hotel to have their buffet lunch... Freaking pricey and I almost walked out of the place. *faints* I didn't see the overall bill cos I know it's about 70+ per person... Oh gosh I'm almost like having rounds after rounds... Wide variety, food so-so only and it's freaking ex. I will never go there to have lunch buffet again. JAMAIS !
French class was super boring cos it was doing of alot of exercises and worksheets. Gosh I almost died of boredom. And my tummy wasn't feeling that well too... Must be something that I ate. I have been craving for Green Bean Soup like forever... The uncle selling dessert in the coffeeshop promised to cook for me today cos I have been bugging him to cook ever since the coffeeshop opened for business. But when I went down today for lunch he have not cook yet ! I told he uncle that he "qi pian wo de gan qing". There goes my craving. I'm so sad cos I don't get to drink my green bean soup. :'(
On the happy note, I went to see HZG today and he praised me ! So happy :D I told him I got my results already (cos he asked me to go and find him when results are out) and he asked me how did I fare. Then I told him I passed. HAHA there are some other things not convenient to tell so that's all about it. OH OH OH .... I just remembered.
See this bunch of bananas ? Hehe. He gave it to me as a reward. IT may sound weird but he initially asked me to choose among 3 things, roasted chicken, roasted duck and shao rou. HAHA I told him I don't want them cos they looked kinda oily. Well REALLY oily. =X Then he settled the bananas for me. I love bananas :D OR maybe he knows that sometimes I have constipation, c'est pourquoi il me l'a donne. =X =X =X
Sheesh I feel so thankful to him. Thank you HZG ! :D
Saturday nite was AWESOME ! They don't call it Saturday night fever for nothin' ! :D
Me, axxch, jii, da en, ting and dennis went to ZOUK ! It was really fun but we (me and A) had to leave early cos I was driving that night and I didn't drink much ! I only had a glass of orange juice. Quite pathetic right... I know. =/
On Monday, which is a public holiday, I went to Malaysia reluctantly with my parents. There were several disputes between me and mom regarding going on the trip. I really didn't want to go. You'll see why later.
Upon reaching pop's office in the late afternoon, gees, it was DISASTROUS ! In the storeroom where stocks are stored, there was a puddle of water. The ceiling was dripping with water from the F&B outlet upstairs. Gosh how bad the stench was.
All the stocks are ruined, and luckily they are insured, so my dad have to claim insurance. Damn jia lat right.
My dad then brought us to lunch, and bought egg tarts ! I brought a box back today it's damn freaking nice !!! E-Ling Wong hor ?

I stoned and doodle the whole day yesterday and went to send stocks with my dad at various shopping malls. Well I didn't get to shop AT ALL. That was bloody sad. And pathetic.
No kidding today when my dad drove back, he sped. 160km/hr. I mean it's not constant... Just now he went to 180 the max gosh I was like =/ almost fainted.
Then nearing to the Malaysia custom, there was a barricade and my dad was asked to move in. Caught for speeding. LOL. The situation damn funny. My dad was calm but just a "si liao" and I echoed HAHAH ! Then he asked my uncle (Da gu zhang) to hand him a 50 ringgit and when my dad wind down his window, the officer said my dad went on 127km/hr but when he saw the $$ and you know his eyes went "chi-king" $$ dollar sign appear on his eyes and let my dad off. LOL !! TAN WU sia ! HAHAHA what a corrupted officer.
When I reached home, my mom was really busy subduing xiao hu and I watched the 7pm show and after that I swept and mopped the floor. Damn dusty sia. It's only 4 days. Sheesh. This is not so bad lor. But when I went to open the refrigerator it was HOT and stinky inside ! DISASTROUS ! Water was seeping out and eww everything inside smelled like rotten fish ! Goodness gracious ! Double the work.
See. I was right. I told my mom not to go M'sia, she wants to go. So now had to borrow fridge from my aunty. =/ HAHA

I PASSED ALL !!! 1 DISTINCTION, 1 CREDIT AND 2 PASSES !
Today is damn scary. At first it was 2pm they said that results would be released. When I checked, it was a false alarm. Then I had to wait for 3 more hours before the official results would be out. Thank god I passed all. I'm quite satisfied with my results actually, cos I didn't expect that I'll pass all and not even thinking about getting a distinction for DC. Well OB and BB I'm happy that I passed, cos really, in the exams I went totally blank.
My god... I can't take it... I'm toooo tensed up. It's full of anxiety. I'm not looking forward to it oh gosh it's just a few hours ticking away ! ARGHHHH !!!!!
Suddenly I felt stress when I wanted to go to bed just now. I'm really tired but I think my results are haunting me. The pressure is on manz. After exams I felt the burden lightened. Now I feel it coming back again. It feels kinda heavy. Whenever I closed my eyes trying to sleep, flashes of the results and the expression on my face daunt me. I admit I'm a worried freak.. And that I'm worrying a bit too much.
Sometimes I wonder...
-what if I put more effort into what I do... That would seriously make a difference. Detective Taylor once said in one of the episodes, "Every little change is significant".
-what if my personality wasn't like this...
-what if I had more confidence...
-what if I have no exam phobia..
-what if I am born smart..
... And the "what ifs" list goes on..... Well, these are only what ifs. It's impossible that these would reflect on me.
I forgot to wish my friend happy 20th bday on the 20/11. I really want to go back on to normal terms, the fun we used to have, and we'd call each other almost everyday just to gossip. I think we haven't spoken for almost 3 years. My gosh. I didn't think that our friendship is so fragile that such things happen again and again. I was wrong. I didn't know what happened. You just stopped talking to me. See, the fact was that I don't know whether to trust you again cos of the other one. What a big influencer. I was really disappointed that our friendship seems to have come to an end, which I don't want to.
I've got a feeling that Saturday will turn out to be a disaster. EMO !!!
I finally shifted my clothings into my wardrob. If I didn't spring clean or move my clothes, I doubt I'd find many unwanted and old clothes that I used to wear, which took up a lot of space. However it's still quite empty... LOL !
I wouldn't want to touch or shift the clothes, until this morning my dad grumbled and nagged... I think as a child (in general), don't like parents' nagging. Well same here. I'm really afraid of naggings. They'll go "Raaa-taa-taa-taa-taa-taa" and rant non-stop. I'll be good. I'll do it.
Sighs. I'm like really worried and like I don't have any mood to do anything cos Thursday is approaching ! Gees. Steamboater wagered with me last night and I put my french dictionary at stake haha ! Well that's a joke between the both of us lah.
Felt so tired the whole day. Slept and slept and slept. I was even late for french class, it wasn't my fault, I was waiting for my dad to complete his dilly dally-ing. And as I thought I was late, Manu was even more late !
ARGH. 3 more days. So fast yet it's torturing me like hell. I'm freaking scared that when I log into www.sim.edu.sg and into the student's portal, 4 big Fs would be displayed there. YES !! I'm talking about my results ! HAIZ. I'm really worried and scared. Actually petrified, terrified and horrified. I think it's worse that watching a horror show. Gosh.
